The Clearwater Fly Casters is a member club of the Federation of Fly Fishers. The membership consists of men and women who live in Pullman, Washington, Moscow, Idaho, and the surrounding area interested in the sport of flyfishing. The membership includes anglers of all levels of ability, ranging from beginners to internationally recognized experts. In addition to the sport itself, members are involved in related environmental and conservation issues such as fish and wildlife habitat protection and restoration. These efforts generally focus on local conservation issues, particularly those related to fishing areas in central and eastern Washington and northern Idaho. Monthly meetings focus on issues related to local fishing waters, fishing and travel opportunities farther afield, and conservation and environmental topics. The monthly program begins at approximately 8:00 pm. Guests are welcome at all meetings, and they may attend for the entire evening or come only for the formal program. At most meetings, there is usually a raffle of flies tied by club members, and occasionally other fly fishing accessories are available for purchase or raffle. During the year there is an annual "fishout" at one of the local lakes in April and a weekend fishing trip to one of the region's rivers (such as the St. Joe or Kelly Creek) in July or August. The annual barbeque will be held the second Wednesday in September.

The club's annual dues are $20.00 for individuals, $30.00 for families, $10 for students, $300 lifetime, and $50 sustaining, paid in January.
